Complete Guide to Using the V Pixel SMS

Introduction

The V Pixel Pro SMS Dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of your messaging activities. It displays real-time statistics for messages, USSD requests, and subscription information.

Messages Section

The Messages section displays statistics for different message states:

Message States:

  • Pending: Messages waiting to be processed
  • Scheduled: Messages set for future delivery
  • Queued: Messages in the sending queue
  • Sent: Messages that have been sent
  • Delivered: Messages confirmed as delivered
  • Failed: Messages that failed to send
  • Canceled: Messages that were canceled
  • Received: Incoming messages

USSD Section

The USSD section shows statistics for USSD requests:

USSD States:

  • Pending: USSD requests waiting to be processed
  • Sent: Completed USSD requests

Subscription Section

View your subscription details:

  • Available Credits: Remaining message credits or “∞” for unlimited
  • Expires After: Time remaining until subscription expiry

Admin Section

For administrators only:

  • Active Subscriptions: Number of active user subscriptions
  • Earnings: Total earnings from subscriptions

Time Interval Filter

Filter dashboard statistics by time period:

Available Intervals:

  • All Time
  • Last 7 Days
  • Last 15 Days
  • Last 30 Days
  • Last 60 Days
  • Last 90 Days

Real-time Updates

The dashboard supports real-time updates when enabled:

  • Statistics update automatically every 5 seconds
  • Enable/disable in settings
  • Keeps you informed of latest changes

Profile Overview

The profile section allows you to manage your account settings, preferences, and security options.

Change Password

Password Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 characters
  • Current password verification required
  • Password confirmation required

General Settings

Available Settings:

  • Name: Update your display name
  • Timezone: Set your local timezone
  • Language: Choose interface language

Message Settings

Message Configuration:

  • Delay Setting: Set message sending delay
  • Email Notifications: Configure SMS to email forwarding
  • Sleep Time: Set quiet hours for message sending
  • Delivery Reports: Enable/disable delivery confirmations
  • Progressive Queue: Configure queue processing
  • Auto Retry: Set automatic retry for failed messages

USSD Settings

USSD Configuration:

  • USSD Delay: Set delay between USSD requests (0-120 seconds)

Devices Overview

The Devices section allows you to manage all connected devices for SMS sending and receiving.

Device Information Display:

  • Device Name
  • Device Model
  • Android Version
  • App Version
  • Total Messages
  • Device Status

Managing Devices

Available Actions:

  • Add new devices
  • Edit device names
  • Remove devices
  • Share devices (Admin only)
  • View device status

Adding Devices

Steps to Add a Device:

  1. Click the “Add Device” button
  2. Scan the QR code with your Android device
  3. Follow the app installation instructions
  4. Complete the device registration process

Editing Devices

Device Editing Options:

  • Change device name
  • Update device settings
  • Modify device permissions

Sharing Devices (Admin Only)

Sharing Options:

  • Share with All Users: Make device available to everyone
  • Share with Demo Users: Share only with demo accounts
  • Selected Users: Choose specific users to share with
  • Owner Settings: Option to use device owner’s settings

Device Status

Status Indicators:

  • Online: Device is connected and ready
  • Offline: Device is not connected
  • Busy: Device is processing messages
  • Error: Device has encountered an issue

Blacklist Overview

The Blacklist feature allows you to manage phone numbers that should not receive messages from your system.

Key Features:

  • Block specific phone numbers
  • Manage multiple numbers at once
  • View all blacklisted numbers
  • Admin controls for user management

Managing Blacklist

Available Actions:

  • View all blacklisted numbers
  • Add single or multiple numbers
  • Remove selected numbers
  • Bulk selection management

Adding Numbers to Blacklist

How to Add Numbers:

  1. Click the “Add” button
  2. Enter phone numbers in the text area
  3. Multiple numbers can be added at once
  4. Each number should be on a new line
  5. Click “Add” to confirm

Note:

Numbers should be in international format without spaces or special characters.

Removing Numbers

Removal Options:

  • Select individual numbers using checkboxes
  • Use “Check All” to select all numbers
  • Click “Remove” to delete selected numbers
  • Confirm removal in the popup dialog

Admin Controls

Administrator Features:

  • View and manage blacklists for all users
  • Switch between different user accounts
  • Add/remove numbers for any user
  • Monitor blacklist usage across the system

User Selection:

Administrators can use the user dropdown to switch between different user accounts and manage their blacklists.

Templates Overview

Message templates allow you to create and save frequently used messages for quick access and reuse.

  • Edit existing templates

Managing Templates

Available Actions:

  • View all saved templates
  • Add new templates

Creating Templates

Template Creation Steps:

  1. Click the “Add Template” button
  2. Enter a template name
  3. Type your message content
  4. Review SMS counter information
  5. Click “Save” to store the template

Note:

Templates can include placeholders for dynamic content and support multiple SMS message parts.

Editing Templates

Template Editing:

  • Click the edit icon next to a template
  • Modify template name or message
  • Review SMS counter updates
  • Save changes
  • Remove templates using checkboxes

SMS Counter

Counter Information:

  • Encoding: Message character encoding type
  • Length: Total characters in message
  • Messages: Number of SMS parts needed
  • Per Message: Characters per SMS part
  • Remaining: Characters left in current part

Real-time Updates:

The SMS counter updates automatically as you type or paste content, helping you manage message length and parts.

Contacts Overview

The Contacts feature allows you to manage your contact lists and send messages to groups of contacts efficiently.

Contact Lists

List Management:

  • Create new contact lists
  • Edit existing list names
  • Remove lists
  • View contacts in each list

Managing Contacts

Contact Operations:

  • Add individual contacts
  • Move contacts between lists
  • Remove contacts
  • Manage contact subscriptions
  • Bulk actions for multiple contacts

Import/Export Contacts

File Operations:

  • Import contacts from Excel files (.xlsx, .xls)
  • Import CSV or ODS files

Import Format:

Files should contain columns for name and mobile number. Download the example file for the correct format.

Sending Messages

Message Features:

Bulk Messages

Important Note:

For MMS messages, ensure your Excel file follows the required format and attachments meet the supported file types.

USSD Overview

The USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) feature allows you to send USSD requests to mobile networks through connected devices.

Sending USSD Requests

Request Options:

  • Enter USSD code (max 182 characters)
  • Select target device
  • Choose specific SIM card (optional)
  • View real-time responses

Important Note:

USSD codes should follow your carrier’s format (e.g., *123#). The device must have active mobile network access.

Request History

History Features:

  • View all USSD requests
  • Track request responses
  • See request timestamps
  • Filter by device and SIM
  • Filter by user (admin only)

Request Management

Management Options:

  • Select multiple requests
  • Resend failed requests
  • Remove old requests

Bulk Actions:

Use the checkboxes to select multiple requests for bulk operations like resending or removal.

Auto Responder Overview

The Auto Responder feature allows you to set up automated responses to incoming messages based on specific rules and patterns.
